Brand kit
The Markov logo, colours and type, and how to use them. Writing about Markov, building an integration or putting us in a deck? Everything you need is here, free to use.
Logo
The mark and the name together are the Markov logo. Use the version made for your background, and don’t redraw it.
The idea
- Three bars, three states. The last state, the present and the next one. Andrey Markov, whose chains the name comes from, showed that the next state depends only on the present.
- The present is the short blue bar. It is the price, the small part of a market everyone sees, standing between the structure on either side.
- Read together, the bars make an M.
Space and size
Keep clear space around the logo equal to the height of the blue bar, and never set it smaller than the sizes below.
- Mark: 16 px at least
Logo: 96 px wide at least
- App icon: keep the tile and its corners
Misuse
The logo works because it never changes. Please don’t alter it.
- Don’t: Stretch or squash it
- Don’t: Recolour the bars
- Don’t: Rotate or flip it
- Don’t: Move the blue bar
- Don’t: Add effects or outlines
- Don’t: Place it on busy images
Colour
Markov is ink and paper with one blue. Blue marks the brand, links and focus, and nothing else.
- Markov blue#2b50ffRGB 43 80 255The brand colour on light. Links, focus, the middle bar.
- Markov blue, dark#5a78ffRGB 90 120 255The brand colour on dark backgrounds.
- Ink#101216RGB 16 18 22Text and the logo on light.
- Night#0b0c0fRGB 11 12 15The page on dark. The app icon tile.
- Paper#f3f4f6RGB 243 244 246The page on light.
- Fog#e6e8ecRGB 230 232 236Text and the logo on dark.
In the product, green and red mean price direction and nothing else: never use them for the brand, buttons or decoration.
- Up#26a69aRGB 38 166 154Price direction only: rising candles, buyers.
- Down#ef5350RGB 239 83 80Price direction only: falling candles, sellers.

Voice
We write like a calm colleague at the next desk: plain English, short sentences, the facts and where they came from.
We say
Shorts worth $412k were forced out on BTC at 81,912, recorded from Hyperliquid.
We never say
Massive short squeeze incoming. Don’t miss this move!
We say
The ≈ sign marks a modeled value. Everything else is venue data.
We never say
Our AI predicts where price goes next.
- No calls. Markov shows context. It never tells anyone to buy or sell.
- Name the source. Every number says where it came from and how old it is.
- No hype. No exclamation marks, no “to the moon”, no urgency.
- Invite, don’t push. Offers are invitations. Cancelling is easy and we say so.
Name
- Markov, with a capital M and the rest lower case. Never MARKOV, markov or Marcos.
- Markov, by Jino Labs (OPC) Private Limited, India.
- Markov is analytics and charting software. It does not place trades or hold funds.
- Don’t use the Markov name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.
