ETH liquidations, live

A liquidation is a leveraged Ethereum position the exchange closed because its margin ran out. This page shows the ETH liquidations that printed on three CEX venues, longs and shorts in USD.

  • Modeled · estimates

    Where ETH liquidations might happen

A liquidation heatmap estimates the bands from open interest and guessed leverage and entry prices. No one can see those positions.

  • Measured · what Markov shows

What printed, and where size rests

The ETH liquidations that happened, sized in dollars. The chart adds a liquidity heatmap, the orders really resting on the book, under the candles.

ETH liquidations, explained

ETH on Hyperliquid, from Markov's record

Over 501 hours fully recorded from 14 Oct 2026 to 4 Nov 2026 (UTC), ETH open interest on Hyperliquid ran from 960,377 ETH to 1,137,798 ETH, and stood at 1,021,679 ETH (about $2.46B) at the last hour. Its largest fall between two UTC day closes was 11.8%, on 30 Oct 2026. Funding there averaged 0.0008% an hour (about 6.9% a year), ranged from -0.0077% to 0.0013% an hour, and was below zero for 51 of 501 hours.

Measured from Markov's record of Hyperliquid's own open interest and funding, kept hourly. The live liquidations on this page come from the venues, read in your browser, and Markov's recorded liquidation totals aren't published here. Not advice.

How to read it

Long liquidations are forced sells, short liquidations forced buys, so a burst can push price further the same way. It shows where leverage was flushed, context for the next test of that level, not where ETH goes next. On 5m the chart labels bars with $250k or more, and longer bars need more.

Where it comes from

Each venue's public liquidation stream, read live in your browser. CEX 1 and CEX 2 send at most one liquidation a second, so totals are a floor.

Paid plans also see recorded liquidations of $10k and more on 1h and 4h charts, from the day Markov began recording. A stretch the collector missed is marked "not recorded", never filled in.

Questions.

Is this a ETH liquidation heatmap?

No. A liquidation heatmap models where ETH liquidations could happen. This page shows the ones that printed, and the chart's liquidity heatmap shows orders really resting on the book. Markov doesn't draw projected liquidation levels.

Why do I see no CEX 1 or CEX 3 ETH liquidations?

Both refuse connections from some networks, including the US. The panel says so and retries every 15 seconds. CEX 2 usually connects.

Is the ETH liquidation feed free?

Yes. The panel on this page and the ETH chart open with a free account.
