Markov vs MMT, compared honestly.

MMT is a full order-flow terminal in the browser: 20+ exchanges, footprints, an HD order book heatmap and on-chart execution. Markov does much less, on purpose: one chart of resting liquidity, realized liquidations, whale prints, funding and open interest, each with its source.

Markov vs MMT

What MMT is

MMT (mmt.gg) aggregates order flow from 20+ exchanges: footprint charts, CVD and delta, DOM and tape, an order book heatmap in SD and HD, a liquidation heatmap, Hyperliquid TP/SL and liquidation maps, scripting with community indicators, alerts and on-chart execution with algos.

What MMT does well

  • Aggregation across 20+ exchanges in one terminal.
  • A full order-flow toolkit with footprint, CVD, DOM and tape, volume profile and TPO.
  • Execution from the chart (Hyperliquid, Propr and Lighter are the providers it lists), with scale, chase and TWAP algos.
  • A free tier, scripting, and community indicators alongside its own.

Where Markov differs

  • Markov is read-only and never places orders.
  • Liquidations are realized and say which venue reported them. Resting liquidity, whale prints, funding and open interest share one time axis.
  • Every number names its source and says whether it is measured or modeled, and modeled dealer gamma for BTC and ETH is drawn dashed (Elite).
  • It is narrower, with 8 coins and a few venues, and no footprint, DOM or scripting.

Measured or modeled, topic by topic.

Liquidation heatmapShows where liquidations cluster. Its features page doesn't say whether the heatmap is realized or estimated. Separate Hyperliquid liquidation maps use real position levels.Realized liquidations that printed on Binance, Bybit and OKX, by price and time, live in your browser and recorded for paid plans' 30 days. Measured.
Order book heatmapAggregated across exchanges, in standard definition on Free and HD on paid plans (its pricing table).Resting liquidity heatmap under the candles from Hyperliquid's order book (about 20 levels a side, at two resolutions), with Binance and OKX books on Pro and Bybit and Lighter on Elite. Measured.
ExecutionOn-chart execution and algos, free on every plan.None. Markov is read-only.

Pricing.

Markov

  • Markov's Free plan is $0 with no account (BTC, ETH and SOL on the chart). Pro is $49 and Elite $99 a month plus tax, each after a 3-day free trial with a card (not in South Korea), and until you cancel.

The pricing page says what each plan includes, and what exists today.

Which to use

Choose MMT for a full order-flow terminal across 20+ exchanges, footprints and execution from the chart.

Choose Markov for a simpler, read-only map that tells you where each number came from and whether it is measured or modeled.

Many traders use more than one tool. Markov provides research tools and education, not financial advice.

Questions.

Can I trade from Markov like I can from MMT?

No. Markov is read-only: it shows structure and never places orders.

Does Markov aggregate as many exchanges as MMT?

No. Markov reads Hyperliquid for the book, trades, funding and open interest, Binance, Bybit and OKX for live liquidations, and adds Binance and OKX books on Pro, and Bybit and Lighter on Elite. MMT lists 20+ exchanges.
